I wish this is real: Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?

Hello~ It’s time for more reviews.

I suddenly had the urge to rewatch this one.

Light novel origin. Anime lasted for only 12eps, but I want more. Adapts 4 volumes of the LN.

Storyline is just dreamy. Playing games, find a waifu online, gets a girlfriend instantly. I honestly don’t mind this girl. She’s near perfect. She was best girl for awhile at some point. OK, let’s not get biased here.

Storyline is pretty above average. Especially during the ups-and-downs seasons of 2016. Comedy does have its moments, most of the time. Character developments does lack a little bit. Romance is kind of stagnant but still pretty sweet. I love it. Ending is very distasteful with that near-cliffhanger and I want more episodes. There is not even an OVA, sad. Me sad.

Animations by Project No.9. I really loved the character designs. Animations were pretty consistent, colors were vivid. One of the selling points of this show.

Music is great. That Oreimo-esque OP, pretty decent ED. BGMs is very game-like. HAHA.

Cast list is pretty great. Toyonaga Toshiyuki, Hidaka Rina, Minase Inori, M.A.O, Yamashita Seiichiro, Ohwada Hitomi, Nanjo Yoshino, Takamoto Megumi, Kawamura Rie, Kanemoto Hisako, Okitsu Kazuyuki, Uchiyama Yumi. Pretty nicely casted, surprising large too.

Ako is really coming back to me… AHHH SHE’S SO DREAMY.

Score

Story: 8/10

Art: 8.5/10

Music: 8/10

VAs: 9/10

Recommended, especially if you play games and wish that it has a marriage system.

I KNOW I’M DESPERATE

  1. I was really starting to wonder if liking this show was a bad thing, as it seems that everyone that I’ve talked to HATES this show . . . but I enjoyed it a lot. Funny as heck, entertaining premise, and yes, the visuals were definitely better than most shows of its kind. Glad you liked it too!
