Fire meets Wind: Kaze no Stigma

Heyo, time for more reviews.

Originated from a light novel. 12volumes in total, 2003-2010. Anime aired for 24 eps.

Storyline seems pretty nice. 24 eps pacing was pretty nicely timed and they made use of pretty much everything they had. I like the setting, concept a lot. They even managed to blend it some romance into the mix which made the show a lot more sweeter that it was supposed to be. Character development were pretty good and well-planned. The 24eps felt pretty long. Ending was inconclusive, which is not surprising. Overall, the show turned up better than expected. Tsundere elements doesn’t really feel cliched at all, but it made the show even more enjoyable. The one thing they should do is to follow the dark nature from the light novels, it will definitely make the anime a lot better, something as dark as Mirai Nikki.

Animation by Gonzo, extremely disappointed that they did not release it on bluray. But the animations seems good and the color was pretty vivid.

Music is great. OP and ED were good. BGMs were fine.

Cast list is pretty good. Ono Daisuke, Fujiwara Ayumi, Morinaga Rika, Koyama Rikiya, Sakai Kanako, Ohara Sayaka, Inokuchi Yuka, Ito Shizuka, Ueda Kana, Makino Yui, Takahashi Chiaki, Fukuyama Jun, Shindo Kei, Kitamura Eri, Konishi Katsuyuki, Watanabe Akeno. All of them were well done.

Score:

Story: 8/10

Art: 7/10

Music: 7/10

VAs: 8/10

Recommended for all to give it a try.
