Fantasy world with a pinch of Otaku: Outbreak Company

Good afternoon!

Just finished this show, and i can feel the similarity between this and Zero no Tsukaima, but obviously this was better. Reason why i didnt combine them is because im not done with Zero no Tsukaima yet. 4 seasons with 12 eps each is still damn long, and its incredibly boring too, making me hard to marathon it.

Originated from LN, 14volumes and still ongoing. Anime only lasted for just 12 eps.

Storyline already picked up quite a lot from the start. Comedy felt pretty lighthearted and looking at Myucel really reminds me of Siesta. Petralka reminds me of Louise. There is definitely differences between the two, like maybe the status and personality of the MC and Myucel is a half-elf while Siesta is a pure human etc etc. Its all slice of life with a lot of funny moments for quite a while then near the end there is some action, but it felt pretty average and the ending was pretty badly wrapped, but a bit anti-climatic but not totally a cliffhanger. Overall its still better than Zero no Tsukaima by a lot. I dont mind another season, no, I NEED ANOTHER SEASON.

Animations by feel. Character design were a mixed bag, Myucel, Minori, Elbia were well drawn, while Petralka was pretty badly drawn, it took me quite a while to get used to Petralka. Color wise felt pretty bland but its isnt that bad. Not quite bad.

Music is a mixed bag. OP by Mimorin was terrific, i love it, in fact i listened to this song way before i watched this show. The ED by Fuchigami Mai was only average for me, cant really feel it.

VAs are pretty legit. Hanae Natsuki, Mimori Suzuko, Fuchigami Mai, Shinichiro Miki, Mariko Honda, Uesaka Sumire, Uchida Maaya, Fujiwara Keiji. All did their job well, especially Mimori Suzuko. Fuchigami Mai’s tsundere took me quite a while to get used to.

Best girl? definitely Myucel, she too cute.

Score
Story: 8/10

Art: 7.5/10

Music: 8/10

VAs: 8.5/10

Recommended. Even tho loopholes and flaws here and there, but you will still enjoy it.
