Woof, Nyaa and Squeak: Dog Days

Good afternoon. Im on a roll, so i thought i post more.

Its an original production. It lasted for 3 seasons, 13,13 then 12 eps. Quite a long one but it was all fun.

Storyline is is pretty unique. Bringing demi-humans into the picture, dogs, cats, squirrels etc etc. Season 1 felt pretty serious but also fun at the same time. Actual action comes near the end of the season, and it felt pretty meaningful. Season 2 comes, and its all just fun and games. Then it lack the feel from Season 1 maybe due to the lack of seriousness. Even tho it scored lower but its still very enjoyable. Season 3 finally came after 3 years long of waiting hell. Overall they managed to bring back the season 1 feel but still not really enough. The seriousness already picks up during the middle of the season and reached a whole new level, but it still cannot beat what Season 1 had achieved. The characters does have some mixture of westurn culture in them, adding more uniqueness into already unique enough plot.

Artwork is done by Seven Arcs for all seasons. It felt pretty decent at first, but slowly as the season progresses, the quality also increases. Despite the quality, it is still very enjoyable to look at and the character design is legitly cute.

Music were all pretty decent. All OPs done by Mizuki Nana and EDs done by Horie Yui.

VAs is a pretty long list of nice people. Miyano Mamoru, Takahashi Mikako, Mizuki Nana, Horie Yui, Taketatsu Ayana, Koyasu Takehito, Ono Yuki, Seto Asami, Hikasa Yoko, Asumi Kana, Matsuki Miyu, Koshimizu Ami, Kakihara Tatsuya, Wakamoto Norio, Ono Daisuke, Hanazawa Kana, Kotobuki Minako, Tange Sakura, Sakurai Takahiro, Yuki Aoi, Mizushima Takehiro, Uchida Maaya, Kitamura Eri, Toriumi Kousuke, Orikasa Ai, Uesaka Sumire, Ogura Yui, Orikasa Fumiko… All of them did their job well, but i really love Yui, Ami, Yoko and Sakura’s voices especially.

Score:

Story: 8/10 (S1), 7/10 (S2), 7.5/10 (S3)

Art: 8/10

Music: 8.5/10

VAs: 9/10

Highly recommended to watch everything in one go, its not really that long, its just 38 eps… But i really welcome another season.
