Top 10 Animes that Deserves a Sequel

top-anime-bunny-2-kurousagi

Good afternoon~

Well, the title said everything so without furthur ado, lets start.

10. Amagi Brilliant Park

Why? It was fun, too short and the animation quality just makes you want more. With only 13 eps and an OVA, they wrap it up nicely with a happily ever after ending, it was short and sweet. I want more as it can turn into one of those pretty epic comedy slice of life, in fact i also wanna see the romance between Seiya and Isuzu bloom, and also MORE Sylphy.

Desire for a sequel: 7/10

9. Etotama

This one will definitely get a mixed opinions, some may want it to happen, some just want it to die. But that feeling of incompletion was heavy on this one, at least for me. Well she have a goal, but it isnt complete yet. Quite a lot of positive points during its run, like the comedy, a number of legit VAs voicing this. I wanna see it happen, the point where the cat enters the zodiac. Well at least give me an OVA.

Desire: 7.5/10

8. Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! (Watamote)

Well… That is a good question

I really love this one, kinda reflects the minority in society who are facing the same issue as her. The delusions are one of the key factors why it was so funny. I wanna see this continue as her journey towards being a normal person is tough and hilarious, it can be a one-of-a-kind slice of life comedy, it might also turn romantic like she having a crush or funnier, someone having a crush on her. And the animation quality is pretty good for its genre already.

Desire: 7.5/10

7. Black Bullet

Why? Lolis, Tsuns, Kuus and Yans are all inside. Also, the war isnt over yet. This show needs to continue as the ending did left quite a few mysteries left unsolved, and how will Kisara move on? Damn. 13 eps might have been well done, but more please, need more loli combat scenes. The animation is also pretty legit, in fact their combat scenes are already not that bad.

Desire: 7.5/10

6. Servant X Service

This one also deserve the same amount of love and hype that Working! has, this slice of life is one-of-a-kind, talking about civil servants, and the romance at the end was left hanging. Animations was damn well done, nice VAs. Even tho the manga ended last year, but that doesnt mean they should just let it die.

Desire: 8/10

5. Akatsuki no Yona

They ended just nice when they found the last dragon, without a proper conclusion. They really need to do a sequel for this one, it will be pretty epic, with a final battle for the kingdom and also reveal the secrets that Soowon was hiding. Animation could have been better tho, but the VAs and character designs saved it.

Desire: 8/10

4. Denkigai no Honya-san

This is one of the most enjoyable slice of life in 2014. The lighthearted comedy, the heartwarming romance, we need more of such comedies. And the romance is just starting to bloom too. Nice character design, nice animations, nice music. I need more of this in case my life took a wrong turn.

Desire: 8.5/10

3. Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou

Another good one back in 2014. The comedy is always coming and the romance here was damn well done. Not to forget, one of the best animations in 2014, Brain’s Base blew my brain totally for this one, bacause D-Frag didnt had such quality back then. I really need a sequel, more idiocy, S&Ms and books.

Desire: 9/10

2. GJ-bu

This is one-of-a-kind slice of life. They may have graduated, but there is a Junior High division. I would love to see more lolis. The comedy is also pretty well executed. Animations are pretty well done too. This series kinda reminds me of Jinsei, but a lot better. Music also pretty unique.

Desire: 9/10

1. Nourin

Such comedy, such setting, such parodies, such agriculture romance. This is something you dont see everyday and also you can just keep rewatching and rewatching without the fear of it being boring. The art is also pretty well done for its genre. I really want this to go on, they ended at a good timing where everything starts to pick up and falling into place. Sigh.

Desire: 10/10

Will post something later, if possible.

  2. I would agree with Etotama. I think my favorite joke in the final ep was the my one cour worth of work is ruined. I would not mind seeing an OVA either. The comedy is one of the strong features. I would not mind another season. I also agree with Brilliant Park. I would love more GJ BU Club, only downside is the Light Novels are done so it would be difficult.
I would also add No Game No Life to this list simply because of that ending and I hate it when shows end on a cliffhanger like that and never continue,
i would also add Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!? simply because it was one of my favorite last summer and it would do wonderful since a majority of the show was giving character development to all the characters and introducing them more with each arc. They are at 17ish volumes for the light novel and the first season covered the first seven and a side story. So they definitely have room for it.
