Top 10 Harems/RomComs that arent that generic as you think it is

pWV0Zz4

Good evening~ Took me a long time to write this one because of the wide library of Harem i watched and then its also hard to pick the ones that arent generic. I need a break.

And we start our countdown some might see it coming

10. Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara

Review Here

Storyline not bad, many cute girls and a cute trap, unique supernatural setting. Seriously, its not that generic, you might not see some things coming or you might think the storyline is going the wrong way, but hey, at least its isnt predictable. But beware of rather bad animations and there is a trap, quite an attractive one. Ending might be a bit bad also, and the density of the characters tends to be damn frustrating. Comedy wise, dont expect much but it is still entertaining. Tsun included.

Generic: 5/10

Harem: 7/10

Trap: Too Damn Attractive/10

Density: 6.5/10

Romance: 8/10

Comedy: 7/10

9. Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?

Unique zombie setting, quite a few Tsuns, Kuus and Yans, weird hallucinations of a death reaper, forced marriage and messy af romance. Comedy is definitely there and the harem is one-of-a-kind. Pretty unpredictable storyline and hey 2 seasons. Ending will definitely make you want more, but deal with it, even the LN ended. Density is also pretty high in this one also. Romance isnt the main focus here but the harem and the comedy.

Generic: 4/10

Harem: 7/10

Romance: 6/10

Comedy: 8/10

Density: 7/10

8. Nyan Koi

Also unique supernatural setting, but involves a lot of cats and allergies. Storyline pretty stable, the harem is there but it doesnt push it in your face, it slowly progresses to the point that the ending became very abrupt and rushed. Tsundere and Yandere are both in, but beware the yandere, its kinda gross, maybe even worst than Himeji. Density is pretty damn high for this one, to the point that you suspect that she might actually be an airhead or she might not even have a brain. Romance is also isnt that thick, just laugh your ass off and facepalm at the density.

Generic: 4/10

Romance: 7/10

Comedy: 8/10

Harem: 9/10

Density: 8.5/10

7. Nisekoi

Storyline goes nowhere but it doesnt push the harem in your face. Tsun and yan are both included. Density is surprisingly high and comedy is out of proportions. Romance can be pretty romantic but it always leave you hanging. Ending for both seasons will definitely leave a lot of questions unanswered, so time to go manga when that time comes.

Generic: 3.5/10

Harem: 8/10

Romance: 8.5/10

Comedy: 9/10

Density: 9/10

6. Sora no Otoshimono

Storyline is definitely one-of-a-kind and the comedy is damn legit. I love it a lot. Cyborg-like romance isnt that bad. The story really knows how to escalate nicely, and endings are pretty well done for the animes. The first movie gave me feels at the end and the 2nd one is a total waste of time, dont bother watch. Im marking Production IMS the sequel killer. This show is also pretty ecchi and also includes the big 3 deres, Tsun, Kuu and Yan into one package, making it one of its strong points. Density is over the roof for this one, maybe because they are cyborgs.

Feels: 7/10

Generic: 3.5/10

Romance: 8/10

Comedy: 9/10

Harem: 8.5/10

Density: 9/10

5. Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai

Review Here

This one hits me the most. I love this series a lot, rewatch worthy. Romance is pretty nice, makes you feel embarassed for them and then comedy is really well done. But the harem can be pretty obvious and for some frustrating at times, but it is one of the reasons why it is so entertaining. 2seasons to laugh at. Tsunderes everywhere and loli included. Ending for the 2nd season can be a bit absurd for some, but if you dont mind, it would be a nice show to watch and watch and watch again. Ecchi levels also pretty high for this, as for the density, it is over the roof, but IS is still top for that category.

Yozora best gurl.

Generic: 3/10

Harem: 7/10

Romance: 8/10

Comedy: 8.5/10

Density: 10/10

4. Hayate no Gotoku

This is one of the most enjoyable and also my most hated show. Why? The choice of their animation studios really sucked, they could have stuck to J.C.Staff since the beginning instead of going one big round, and ended up with Manglobe, messing up the character design, ruining the entire francise for me. Back to topic, the storyline is nice until the 2nd season. The rest are shit. Romance might not be there, but the harem and comedy is in your face all the time and the density is seriously over the roof, facepalming here and there, if this were to happen in real life, Hayate will be forever alone… It includes Loli, Tsun into one package.

Generic: 3/10

Harem: 8/10

Romance: 6.5/10

Comedy: 8/10

Density: 10/10

3. The World God Only Knows

Review Here

Nice storyline, unique supernatural setting, so many girls. This one isnt really a harem in the beginning, but in fact he had to make one to save his own ass, but not bad, this harem isnt always in your face all the time. Romance is damn nice, its kinda like a life lesson on how to make your life more romantic but what isnt really recommended is to follow what the dating sims always do. Comedy is really over the roof, also one-of-a-kind type, pulling off gags that would have killed you in real life, or maybe impossible to be done. I legitly laughed hard for this one. So many series to watch so dont worry, but ending for the last season you make you want a lot more since it ended pretty badly and left a lot of questions unanswered. The variety of girls is really wide so dont worry about you not finding any best girls, there is definitely be one just for you. Tsun, Kuu, Yan, Lolis… They pretty much have everything. The animation quality is also well done. The ending does gives some feels, and also quite depressing. The density is really low for this one for some reason.

Feels: 7/10

Generic: 2/10

Romance: 9.5/10

Comedy: 9.5/10

Harem: 8/10

Density: 2/10

2. Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko

Review Here

Good story and progression and unique supernatural setting. The story transitions pretty dramatically for this one, it was normal at first, then turn all supernatural. The romance is pretty decent and the comedy is well done, it really bring quite a few laughs. Harem is sometimes pretty obvious but you might overlook that for the comedy. Even tho it has included Hentai in its name, but actually the ecchi level is pretty minimal for this. The drama and density is pretty high for this one, but hey, factors that make it entertaining. Tsunderes, lolis and kuuderes included inside.

Generic: 1.5/10

Romance: 8/10

Comedy: 8.5/10

Harem: 8.5/10

Density: 8/10

1.Date A Live

Review Here

Kinda obvious, for most who followed me since the beginning. Excellent storyline, nice soundtrack, wide range of girls. The harem is also wasnt since the beginning, but it happens just so that he can save the world and the girls, and it doesnt always comes to your face, not really obvious. I love the character designs, they might be one of the most beautiful artworks i ever seen so far. Tsundere, Yandere, Kuudere, Lolis are all inside. The romance here is really good because they actually execute them. The animation quality is well done, music well composed. Density is like a rollercoaster, it varies. Comedy is really nicely done, it jumps at you, and then laugh. The variety of girls is wide but not as wide as The World God Only Knows, but you might still find your best girl in this one. 2Seasons with 2 OVAs and a movie, BUT I STILL WANT MORE~~~~

Generic: 1/10

Romance: 9.5/10

Comedy: 9/10

Harem: 9/10

Density: 4/10

There you go, my top 10 list for harems, i hope you guys will enjoy them as much as i did.
